Nestled in the serene countryside, the Limes Country Lodge Hotel offered a delightful escape this Christmas, perfectly suiting my passion for both tranquility and history. Our room, nestled in a modern block, was refreshingly quiet, allowing us to unwind after long walks in the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was a highlight; the full English was cooked to perfection and served hot, while the friendly staff ensured that our cups never ran dry without being intrusive-how lovely is that? The Admiral Restaurant offered a relaxed dining experience where we indulged in hearty meals, making it the ideal setting for our small celebration. In short, the Limes offered a warm welcome, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere-ideal for those looking to revel in some quality family time or a romantic getaway. I highly recommend it!
