Nestled in the serene countryside, the Limes Country Lodge Hotel offered a delightful escape this Christmas, perfectly suiting my passion for both tranquility and history. Our room, nestled in a modern block, was refreshingly quiet, allowing us to unwind after long walks in the beautiful grounds. Breakfast was a highlight; the full English was cooked to perfection and served hot, while the friendly staff ensured that our cups never ran dry without being intrusive—how lovely is that? The Admiral Restaurant offered a relaxed dining experience where we indulged in hearty meals, making it the ideal setting for our small celebration. In short, the Limes offered a warm welcome, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere—ideal for those looking to revel in some quality family time or a romantic getaway. I highly recommend it!
